Haras de l’Ermitage
The site
The Ermitage stud farm is located in Appeville-Annebault in the Eure department (27290). The stud farm is 2h30 from Paris and 48km from Rouen. It is a little paradise where horses roam in a calm, relaxing and green site of 12 hectares (including 5 rented to a farmer).
The team
Jane Storey and Charly Dixon form a dynamic team who share a common passion for horses and equestrian competition. They attach great importance to the quality of their work and the well-being of the horses on a daily basis.
Both are amateur eventing riders and their passion for breeding goes back many years. British citizens, they bought the stud farm in 2003 and chose to settle permanently in France in October 2021. Since then, they created the company EUROGENERAL EQUESTRIAN in 2022 in order to develop their breeding activity.
They work closely with Sébastien Cavaillon , member of the French eventing team, and Julie Bordenave , CCI3*-L eventing rider, for the promotion of their horses. This collaboration allows them to benefit from the expertise of these two recognized professionals in the field of eventing.

Infrastructure
The stud farm has functional infrastructures which allow the horses to grow in the best conditions.

Horse breaking and training are done in the Equi-Complet facilities.
